We feel happy and delighted to announce our television show on Vedic Mathematics called ‘The Maths Club’ on Taaza TV.
The importance and significance of Mathematics education for students cannot be disregarded. The vast majority of university degrees require Mathematics. The importance of Mathematics for potential future careers cannot be more emphasized. Mastery of early math skills predicts not only future math achievement; it also predicts future reading achievement as well.
To raise more awareness about Mathematics and how to tackle the subject we would like to share concepts of Vedic Mathematics with the community to enhance curiosity and interest towards Mathematics – a subject which the students love to hate!
The Vedic Maths formulas are able to solve complex calculations with ease and simplicity. As an example a sum like 998 x 997 could be solved in less than five seconds by a third grader which usually takes little more than two minutes to solve. Because it cuts the time and speeds up the calculations whereby simplifying the entire process, Vedic Mathematics is getting popular amongst academicians worldwide as a mental system of arithmetic. In India it has already been implemented in the syllabus of Punjab and Rajasthan Board of Education schools.
In this backdrop we are proud to launch a television program titled ‘The Maths Club’ for students in association with Taaza TV whose objective would be to make Maths fun, interesting and engaging. The Maths Club will give a new perspective to calculate faster to students who struggle with Mathematics on a day to day basis thereby making them get better grades and success in life.
